    Description

Werewolf of London (Universal, 1935). Folded, Very Fine+. Full-Bleed Swedish One Sheet (27" X 39.5") Fuchs Artwork.
Offered here for only the third time at Heritage is this wonderful Swedish one sheet for Universal's Werewolf of London. The film stars Henry Hull as Wilfred Glendon, an English botanist who becomes a werewolf while traveling in Tibet, but Swedish-born co-star Warner Oland takes center stage on this poster form the actor's home country. The film's title is even changed to make Oland's nefarious Dr. Yogami the focus, with the modified title translating to Dr. Yogami from London. By either name, this is a fantastic poster from Universal's golden age of movie monsters. The stone litho poster looks great with just some slight edge and fold wear, some soft creases, and a few minute tears.

    Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
