World War II Propaganda (U.S. Government Printing Office, 1944). Navy Poster (28.5" X 40") "I'm Proud of You Folks Too!," Jon Whitcomb Artwork.
Civilian morale was of great importance during the second World War. In an attempt to keep it high, the government produced motivational posters such as this, on which a sailor enthusiastically shakes hands with factory workers. The comforting artwork comes courtesy of American artist Jon Whitcomb, a former Navy lieutenant. There is some fold wear, wear with a tear in the left border, a couple small tears in the upper border, and a bend in the upper right corner. Folded, Very Fine-.
