    Description

World War II Propaganda (Recruiting Publicity Bureau, 1945). Folded, Very Fine-. U.S. Army Nurse Corps Recruitment Poster (21" X 28") "Symbol of Life." Lejaren a Hiller Photography. War.
This U.S. Army Nurse Corps recruitment poster highlights the caduceus, the traditional symbol of medicine in the United States, and, as the poster states, a symbol of life and hope for the future for the soldiers wounded in World War II. An unrestored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as light edge and fold wear, very minor creases, small fold separations, tiny tears, or faint image ghosting.
