    World War I Propaganda (Victory Girls United War Work Campaign, 1918). Very Fine on Linen. Poster (22" X 27.5") "Every Girl Pulling for Victory," Edward Penfield Artwork. Created by one of the most influential artists of American graphic design, this poster boasts and excellent and inspiring image by illustrator Edward Penfield. Launched on the day of the Armistice in 1918, the United War Work Campaign was a civilian organization set on raising funds for the entertainment of troops overseas. It was in turn comprised of several charitable associations like the YWCA, the Salvation Army, and the Jewish Welfare Board. The poster has partial touchup to a few small pinholes and minor tears. There is a small tear into the "W" of "War." Very Fine on Linen.
