World War I Propaganda (National War Savings Committee, 1918). Very Fine- on Linen. British Poster (59.5" X 40") "Back Him Up, Buy War Bonds," Sir Frank Brangwyn Artwork. An accomplished artist and mainly self-taught, Sir Frank Brangwyn created over eighty propaganda posters over the course of WWI for both the UK and the US, despite not being an official war artist. This poster is actually an expanded, black and white version of another of his famous designs, "Put Strength in the Final Blow." There has been light partial touchup to the folds, pinholes, a few moderate tears into the background, and a couple of minor chips. Very Fine- on Linen.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
