    Description

World War I Propaganda (Emergency Fleet Corp., 1918). Fine/Very Fine on Linen. Poster (39" X 29.25") "On the Job for Victory," Jonas Lie Artwork. War.
Productivity, when it came to the manufacturing of ships, during World War I helped lead the United States to victory. In an attempt to encourage citizens to do their part, the Emergency Fleet Corporation created gorgeous posters to drive the point home. Known for his colorful and beautiful works of the coastlines of New England and the construction of the Panama Canal, artist Jonas Lie paints a magnificent image of the ongoing production of massive U.S. ships. A partially restored poster that displays signs of use. May include mild edge and fold wear, a few fold separations, small tears, minor chips, or faint stains and smudges. Restoration has addressed some of these issues. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
