    Description

World War I Propaganda (Department of Labor, 1918). Poster (19" X 28") "Put Fighting Blood in Your Business." War.
Featuring this beautifully rendered propaganda poster issued by the U.S. Employment Service and the Department of Labor, depicting Marines charging into battle with flags flying overhead. Also depicted is a badge which commemorates several battles that the marines participated in, including: Cantony, Chateau Thierry, St. Mihiel, Argonne, and Marne. A great image by artist Dan Smith which is a part of the small group of posters that dealt with post-war adjustment and employment for soldiers. An unrestored poster that displays signs of use. May include light edge wear, corner bumps, small edge tears, very minor paper loss, or unobtrusive stains. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
