    Description

World War I Propaganda (Committee on Public Division of Pictorial Publicity, US Govt, 1918). Rolled, Fine-. War Savings Stamps Poster (20" X 30") "They Give Their Lives, Do You Lend Your Savings?" Ho. DeVito Welsh Artwork. War.
With grave markers silhouetted atop a hill, with a darkening and shadowy sky behind, this fine poster is generally regarded as one of the more graphic images of all the propaganda efforts from the WW I era. The poignant image and message encourages people to buy war stamps. An unrestored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. It may have edge wear, mild creases including printing creases, chips, tears, or staining. There are several strips of archival tape on the verso.
