World War I Propaganda (ca. 1917). Fine on Linen. War Bond Poster (19" X 25") "Remember the Bond," Oscar Cesare Artwork.
This striking World War I poster depicts a wounded soldier struggling through barbed wire as he reaches upward, urging viewers to "Remember the Bond" and support the war effort. A restored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. Slightly noticeable replacement has addressed missing corners at the upper left and lower right as well as a few slight chips along the borders. Other imperfections, such as edge wear, some creases, noticeable tears of varying lengths, mostly small stains, light toning, and a few stray graphite markings, remain untouched. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
