    Offered is a striking poster featuring Marcel Falter artwork of a French soldier strangling the Imperial eagle. The poster advertises for France's 1918 National Loan, later known as the Recovery Loan, a campaign designed to help the country pay off their debt to foreign powers after World War I. A partially restored poster that displays signs of use. May include edge and fold wear, fold separations, pinholes, small tears, minor paper loss, unobtrusive staining and smudges, or toning. Restoration has addressed some of these issues. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
