    Description

War Propaganda Poster (American Red Cross, 1918). World War I Poster (20.5" X 27.5") "Motherless, Fatherless, Starving; How Much to Save These Little Lives?" War.
Powerful image by Crisp of a nurse trying to aide several homeless children, some with French flags, as a woman on her knees hands the nurse an infant. The Red Cross used this poster and others to help raise money for the war efforts; this one in particular was advertising the War Fund Week that took place in 1918 for the week of May 20th-27th. An unrestored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. It may have tears, slight paper loss, minor stains, and/or edge wear. Archival tape on the reverse. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Rolled, Fine.
