    Description

U.S. Marines (Early 1910s). Rolled, Fine+. Recruitment Poster (30" X 40") "Soldiers of the Sea." War.
As was common for many branches of the military before the outbreak of World War I, the U.S. Marines' tactic for attracting new recruits focused on the more exciting aspects of military life, such as learning battle tactics, recreational activities, comradery, and the opportunity to visit exotic locales. An unrestored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. It may have slight edge wear, light creases, small tears, slight paper loss, a few dust shadows, smudging, and/or mild foxing. Rolled, Fine+.
