    Description

    Passage to Marseille (Warner Brothers, 1944). First Post-War Release Italian 2 - Fogli (39.5" X 55").
Michael Curtiz, fresh off his success and Oscar win for Casablanca, tried to reunite the majority of his cast for this wartime tale. Back were Peter Lorre, Claude Rains, Sydney Greenstreet and Humphrey Bogart, playing yet another cynical, tough guy with a heart of gold and a cause to fight for. This large Italian fogli is similar to the artwork used on the American one sheet, and doesn't often surface. Restoration has addressed scattered pinholes in the borders and interior, small tears and nicks in the top and left borders, a horizontal tear above "Humphrey," a chip at the right edge of the top horizontal fold, and has applied touchup to the borders. Very Fine- on Linen.
