    World War I Propaganda (U.S. Navy, 1918) Very Fine- on Linen. Recruiting Poster (28" X 40.75") "Help Deliver the Goods," Herbert Andrew Paus Artwork. In the final year of the first World War, Herbert Andrew Paus created this illustration encouraging citizens to enlist in the U.S. Navy. Paus gained recognition for his artfully designed posters during World War I and was inducted into the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame in 2005. There is light partial touchup to mild edge wear, pinholes, and moderate tears. Some of the tears extended slightly into the image and some of the aforementioned issues are still visible. Very Fine- on Linen.
