    Description

Norman Rockwell War Propaganda Poster (U.S. Government, 1943). World War II Poster (28" X 40") "Save Freedom of Worship, Buy War Bonds". War. Norman Rockwell's Freedom of Worship illustration appeared on the pages of The Saturday Evening Post on February 27, 1943 before it was printed on an Office of War Information poster. This painting was the second installment of the Four Freedom series even though it was painted last. An unrestored poster that may be slightly brittle due to age, show some paper loss or staining, very minor tape stains, writing in an unobtrusive place, and/or some very slight fading to colors. It is most likely in need of some degree of work or restoration. The poster has been laminated and has two grommets at the top. There is writing on the front. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades; Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Folded, Very Good.
