World renowned graphic artist Jan Lenica contributes a stirring composition reminiscent of Italian existentialist Alberto Giacometti to this country-of-origin poster for the second film in director Andrzej Wajda's World War II trilogy. Starring Teresa Izewska, Tadeusz Janczar, Wienczyslaw Glinski, Tadeusz Gwiazdowski, Stanislaw Mikulski, Emil Karewicz, Vladek Sheybal, and Teresa Berezowska. Directed by Andrzej Wajda. Backed to linen, the poster received touchup to a 2.75" tear in the left margin, a chip to the top edge and top right corner, and small edge tears. There is some light background scuffing. An incredible original poster for one of the most important Polish films of all time, this piece would be a significant addition to any private or institutional collection.
