    Description

I Wanted Wings (Paramount, 1941). Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41") Style A.
A fleet of World War II fighter planes are in formation behind Veronica Lake and William Holden, combining excitement and romance on this gorgeous style A one sheet. Lake soared to stardom thanks to her role in this high-flying film, and would go on to team with Alan Ladd in a series of classic film noir classics. The poster has such signs of use as edge and fold wear, fold separations, pinholes, and tears, one of which is from the upper border to the upper horizontal fold. Other visible wear includes small chips, splices, and unobtrusive stains and smudges, including tape stains. Some of these issues have received partial touchup and the linen has been trimmed to the borders.
