    Description

War of the Colossal Beast (American International, 1958). Very Fine+ on Linen. Three Sheet (41" X 78.75") Albert Kallis Artwork.
Col. Glenn Manning (Dean Parkin, replacing Glenn Langan from the first movie) became a colossal "beast" in this installment so that the producers could avoid pegging the movie as a sequel to The Amazing Colossal Man. Featuring a (very) brief color sequence at the end, this was an altogether more lurid affair than the first film, especially with Manning's face now eaten away to a half-skull. The beast hefts a city bus on this outstanding insert, and the passengers go flying. Touchup has been applied to the folds, pinholes, and small tears. There are a couple of unobtrusive stains still visible.

    Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
