Description

Virginia City (Warner Brothers, 1940). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Union officer Kerry Bradford (Errol Flynn) fights Confederate sympathizer Randolph Scott and outlaw Humphrey Bogart for a five million dollar shipment of gold. Along the way, Flynn has time to woo Miriam Hopkins, who is a Southern spy posing as a dance hall singer. The poster has been mounted on linen with minimal restoration. A six-inch tear in the upper left corner extends into Flynn's hat. There is a corner chip on the lower left and the upper right corner, which has been replaced. Despite these flaws, the poster has a very nice appearance, with bright vibrant colors and marvelous pictures of Flynn and Hopkins. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
