DescriptionVirginia City (Warner Brothers, 1940). Linen Finish Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style A.
A classic Western, Michael Curtiz brings plenty of adventure and drama two the screen, pitting longtime swashbuckler Errol Flynn against quintessential cowboy Randolph Scott as enemy civil war spies. Miriam Hopkins plays their shared love interest, while Humphrey Bogart dons the guise of a greedy bandito, and all of them are after a shipment of Union gold. It's Heritage's first time to offer the film's original, linen finish half sheet, which displays edge wear with small tears, vertical creasing, and thin dust shadows. There are bits of surface paper loss at some of the edges a chip in the upper right border. There is a small tear at the bottom with archival tape on the verso and a small reattached chip in the lower border with cellophane tape on the verso. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
