    Description

    Vertigo (Paramount, 1958). Poster (30" X 40") Style Y. Saul Bass Artwork.
In the intervening years since the initial release of Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo, the film is now considered one of Hitchcock's finest films. As such, the posters (featuring artwork by designer Saul Bass) are always in demand and none more than this one. This is the very scarce 30 X 40 poster; one of the rarest format posters on this title. The design is also significant as it is also the only poster from the original release to feature this art. The poster had a few chips and tears in the edges that have been corrected with cleaning and airbrushing to the borders. The yellow area behind the lower credits has been airbrushed as well. There were a few crimps and slight creases within the image. However, the poster now appears quite clean. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
