Vertigo (Paramount, 1958). Fine+ on Linen. Poster (40" X 60") Style Y, Saul Bass Artwork.
Consistently listed as one of the best movies ever created by the master of suspense, Vertigo posters are also among the most desirable among Hitchcock fans. This is especially true of 40" X 60" posters, such as the Style Y offered here, which were produced in much smaller quantities than most formats. Not only does it feature the famed vortex design by Saul Bass, but also an emotive shot of James Stewart and Kim Novak that is found only on one other poster, the corresponding 30" X 40" design. Touchup has been applied to edge wear, mild creases, thin surface scratches, and a few very minor chips and tears in the borders. The poster also shows unaddressed color fading. However, the paper itself is in good shape and the rare, dramatic image remains intact.

    Estimate: $3,000 - $6,000.
