    Description

Two from Texas (Universal Film Manufacturing, 1920). Good/Very Good on Linen. One Sheet (26.75" X 41").
Dabbling in both acting and directing until 1917, J. Farrell MacDonald became one of the most widely used character actors in Hollywood for decades, often cast in Westerns and Irish comedies. Here he takes on the lead role in the first of three Old West shorts he did for Universal, soon making a successful jump into feature films and talkies. Prior to expert restoration, this stone litho Heritage first once displayed edge and fold wear, fold separations, creases, and tears into the interior. There was a partial trim along the left and top borders, as well as paper loss in the lower right section of the poster extending to the "E" of "Texas" and the first "D" in "Donald." Good/Very Good on Linen.
