    Description

    Two Arabian Knights (United Artists, 1927). Fine/Very Fine. Insert (14" X 36").
William Boyd and Louis Wolheim are two World War I soldiers captured by Germans who escape by disguising themselves as Arabs in this Howard Hughes production. Mary Astor plays a harem girl in need of rescue in this, one of her earliest roles. Additionally, Boris Karloff can be seen as the villain pursuing Boyd and Wolheim after their escape. This outrageous comedy/adventure became a massive box office smash, and would earn director Lewis Milestone the only Oscar given for Best Comedy Direction. Signs of handling include mild edge wear, light creases, small tears, and a few minor chips. There are some stains and foxing in the borders. Fine/Very Fine.

    Estimate: $500 - $1,000.
