    Description

    True Confessions & Other Lot (Fawcett Publications, 1934). Magazines (2) (Multiple Pages, 8.5" X 11", 11.5"). Miscellaneous.
Included in this lot is the February 1934 issue of True Confessions, along with the November 1932 issue of Modern Screen (Dell Publishing, 1932), with fantastic cover art of Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich. The magazines feature all sorts of vintage advertisements, glorious photographs, original stories, and thought-provoking articles on your favorite celebrities, such as John Barrymore, Clara Bow, Charlie Chaplin, Clark Gable, Eleanor Roosevelt, Carole Lombard, Jackie Cooper, Jean Harlow, Katharine Hepburn, Joan Crawford, and many, many more. Unrestored magazines with bright colors and clean overall appearances. They may have general signs of use, such as slight edge and spine wear, light spine separation, creases, unobtrusive stains or surface paper lifts, small tears, surface scuffs, faint page toning, or minor paper loss. Modern Screen is missing page 21/22, and has an additional 3" tear in page 35/36. Please see full-color, enlargeable images above for more details. Overall Grade: Fine/Very Fine.
