    Description

To Have and Have Not (Warner Brothers, 1944). Folded, Fine+. Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style A.
By far more rare than its style B counterpart, this half sheet is finally making its second appearance at Heritage after nearly fifteen years! This was the movie where Bogie and Bacall fell in love, and was in fact the film debut for a young Lauren Bacall. Humphrey Bogart runs a wartime charter boat, and agrees to help smuggle an important underground leader in order to help his new girlfriend, a sultry pickpocket (Bacall), return to America. Sparks fly between the two stars, and the story is engrossing, even if it bears little resemblance to the original Hemingway novel. Featuring a great shot of our two leads, the poster displays mild edge and fold wear, slight creasing, pinholes, and minor tears. Other indications of use includes toning, as well as some smudging and staining. The half sheet only has a vertical fold, not a horizontal fold.

    Estimate: $3,000 - $6,000.
