DescriptionTo Catch a Thief (Paramount, R-1964). Folded, Fine+. Italian 2 - Fogli (39.25" X 55") Ercole Brini Artwork.
Cary Grant was persuaded by Alfred Hitchcock to come out of retirement for this delightful caper film -- he would go on to make pictures for eleven more years. This was also the film on which Grace Kelly met her future husband, Prince Rainier of Monaco. Artist Ercole Brini is credited with this gorgeous reissue poster, which displays mild edge and fold wear, soft creases, minor chips at the folds, and small tears. There is a significant fold separation in the vertical fold, some edge and fold toning, and a tear from the bottom border into the credits at the lower left. Both the tear and fold separation have been braced with archival tape on the verso. Folded, Fine+.
Estimate: $400 - $800.
