Thunderbolt and Lightfoot by Tino Avelli (United Artists, 1974). Very Fine. Signed Original Gouache Artwork on Illustration Board (13" X 18.75") used for Italian 2 -Fogli.
In Michael Cimino's directorial debut, Clint Eastwood "Thunderbolt" and Jeff Bridges "Lightfoot" co-star as two misfits thrown together on a journey to claim Thunderbolt's loot from an old robbery before it is too late. Known for his illustrations for such films as The Party, The Thomas Crown Affair, The Magnificent Seven, Flesh, The Mechanic, and Boy, Did I Get a Wrong Number!, artist Tino Avelli produced this dynamic gouache piece for this exciting Clint Eastwood picture. Signed by the artist, the piece has slight edge wear, small corner bumps, faint smudges, and unobtrusive stains. Some of this wear is most likely from the artistic and production processes, as is writing in the lower right corner and on the verso. Very Fine.

    Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
