Cul-de-sac (Compton Films, 1966). British Quad (30" X 40").
After Knife in the Water and Repulsion, director Roman Polanski was heralded as the next major auteur in the cinema. With Cul-de-sac, he explored the relationships of a man and his wife when they suddenly find their home (castle) invaded by two wounded gangsters. The poster displays staple marks in all of the corners. and minor tears along the edges. There are also some tape stains in the top and bottom edges and there was some paper loss in the bottom left corner just below the artists signature. To the right of the artists signature is a stamp of the former owner. There is also some tape on the verso to reinforce the corners and some minor tears. Art by Lemica. Fine+.
