DescriptionThose Three French Girls (MGM, 1930). Folded, Very Fine-. One Sheet (27" X 41"). From the Mike Kaplan Collection.
Heritage is pleased to present this stone litho one sheet for the first time, a great illustration of the movie's three titular stars, Fifi D'Orsay, Yola d'Avril, and Sandra Ravel. A comedic farce, the picture's fast-paced dialogue was written by P. G. Wodehouse, one of Britain's greatest comedic novelists and the author behind the beloved characters Bertie and Jeeves. Costarring as the hapless travelers caught up in a series of misadventures are Reginald Denny, Cliff Edwards, and Edward Brophy. Indications of handling found on this lovely Heritage first include minor fold separations, a few creases, unobtrusive stains and smudges, as well as very small chips and tears. There are a couple of tears in the upper right background braced with pieces of archival tape on the verso.
Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
