Featuring haunting art of Veronica Lake and Alan Ladd, this 1945 re-release poster perfectly captures the feel of the early film noir classic. Ladd shot to stardom thanks to his portrayal of Philip Raven, a hired gun who is double-crossed by his client. Lake and Ladd would star in six more films together, cementing them as the King and Queen of noir. Touchup has been applied to small areas in the white background on the left side of the poster. there is faint dust shadow at the edges of the borders.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
