DescriptionThings to Come (Film Classics, R-1947). Very Fine-. Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14").
H.G. Wells' meditation on the future of the human race was one of the most spectacular films of its day, with Raymond Massey and Cedric Hardwicke in the leads. William Cameron Menzies, famed as an art director and production designer, was the director, and Wells himself penned the screenplay. Offered here is the re-issue lobby card set featuring many of the film's stunning vistas. General wear found in these cards includes light edge wear, slight creases, minor tears, and mostly unobtrusive stains and smudges. The title card and one of the lobby cards have paper tape remnants on the verso with faint tape stain bleedthrough.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
