The Wasp Woman (Warner Brothers, 1959). Rolled, Fine/Very Fine. Insert (14" X 36").
One of the best 1950s creature-feature posters, inspired by director Roger Corman's highly entertaining film about an aging and vain cosmetics firm owner (Susan Cabot) who injects herself with an experimental drug made from the secretions of wasps in order to rejuvenate herself. The results prove deadly as she takes on the characteristics of a human wasp. This insert is always a favorite among collectors, showing slight edge wear, light creases, and unobtrusive stains and smudges. There are thin surface scuffs and scratches in the interior. The poster once had soft folds which have been pressed out and are no longer visible on the front. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
