    Description

    The Waiter's Ball (Triangle-Keystone, 1916). One Sheet (27.75" X 41.5").
Before Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle saw his career dissolve during Virginia Rappe's murder trial and long before his nephew Al "Fuzzy" St. John became the wily whiskered sidekick of the Westerns, the two often teamed up in several successful short comedies during their first few years in Hollywood. Though not as well known as their later works, this hilarious story of a cook and waiter locked in a passive aggressive brawl shows the two in the earliest days of their careers, each refining their potential and pursuing their ambitions. This bright stone litho one sheet features a great image of Arbuckle, and has had professional restoration correct pinholes, small border and crossfold chips, and applied touchup to the folds. There was paper loss in the upper right corner going into the black border and there were some tears from the top border into the upper text. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
