    Description

    The Waiter's Ball (Triangle-Keystone, 1916). One Sheet (27.75" X 41.5").
Before Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle saw his career dissolve during Virginia Rappe's murder trial and long before his nephew Al "Fuzzy" St. John became the wily whiskered sidekick of the Westerns, the two often teamed up in several successful short comedies during their first few years in Hollywood. Though not as well known as their later works, this hilarious story of a cook and waiter locked in a passive aggressive brawl shows the two in the earliest days of their careers, each refining their potential and pursuing their ambitions. This bright stone litho one sheet features a great image of Arbuckle, and has had professional restoration address fold wear with a chip in the upper horizontal fold, some chips in the top and bottom borders, and a couple of chips in the lower left corner and studio logo. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
