    The Unknown by Tod Browning and Waldemar Young (MGM, 1927). Very Fine. Leather Bound Original First Draft Continuity Script (104 Pages, 8.5" X 11").
    The Unknown is a classic silent film which combined the talents of Lon Chaney and Tod Browning and was an early starring role for Joan Crawford. Offered in this lot is a rare original first draft continuity script that has been bound in leather. The original story was written by Browning and the Scenario by Waldemer Young. It tells the story of a criminal (Chaney) who hides out in a circus by pretending to be an armless man. Professionally leather bound, the interior pages are printed on onion skin. Portions of the title page have been blanked out and there is cellophane tape on the verso. There is creasing on this page also which extends several pages in.
