    Description

The Turn of the Wheel (Goldwyn, 1918). One Sheet (28" X 41").
A silent mystery revolving around murder, gambling, and illicit affairs, this Reginald Barker-directed picture unexpectedly stars one of the biggest operatic sopranos of the day, Geraldine Farrar. Already a sensation at the New York Metropolitan Opera, Farrar took her talents from stage to screen in the 1915 silent adaptation of Carmen, using her signature brand of emotive acting in lieu of her voice. Offered for the first time at Heritage, this beautiful stone litho one sheet has touchup to the folds with small crossfold separations, and small chips and tears in the borders. Very Fine- on Linen.

    Estimate: $1,400 - $2,800.
