    Description

The Trial of Donald Duck (RKO, 1948). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Poor Donald Duck tries to eat his lunch in the park, but things never go as planned for Disney's hapless waterfowl. It starts to rain on his picnic, so he heads to Chez Pierre for a cup of coffee, which ends up costing him $35.99, a whopping $382.66 in today's dollars! With only a nickel to his name, he is put on trial and ordered to wash dishes for ten days. Early Duck posters have always been scarce and this is no exception. Professional restoration has addressed fold wear and separations, pinholes into the interior, as well as chipping and tears in the borders and folds. There were a few tape stains in the folds and the borders have been airbrushed, giving the poster a neat finish. Fine+ on Linen

    Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
