The Traveling Salesman (Paramount, 1921). Swedish One Sheet (23" X 35").
Fatty Arbuckle had just signed a million-dollar contract with Paramount, and producer Adolph Zukor was putting him in picture after picture, trying to get his money's worth. In this adaptation of a stage play by James Forbes, he plays the titular salesman, tricked into getting off at the wrong stop in the pouring rain. The house he breaks into to get out of the rain is owned by Betty Ross Clarke, and when he later tries to pay her for the damage, he finds himself in love for the first time. This Swedish one sheet has pinholes in the corners with chips, a small tear in the lower right, a chip on the right border, and some creasing. The chartex is trimmed to the borders, but not into the poster. Nice stone litho artwork. Fine+ on Chartex.
