DescriptionThe Time Machine (MGM, 1960). Folded, Very Fine-. One Sheet (27" X 41") Reynold Brown Artwork.
George Pal directed this adaptation of H.G. Wells' classic story for the screen in what many consider is still the best version of the tale. Rod Taylor is a scientist who travels into the future and finds civilization has changed. He witnesses two World Wars, nuclear bombings, and molten lava pouring onto the surface of the earth. This one sheet has some fold wear and separation, soft creases, pinholes, and small paper lifts. There are some unobtrusive stains, including tape stains, and some mild surface rippling. There is very minor touchup applied to a couple of pinholes, and the poster has pieces of cellophane, paper, and masking tape on the verso. Wonderful artwork by Reynold Brown.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
