DescriptionThe Thin Man (MGM, 1934). Fine/Very Fine on Cardstock. Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Originally intended as a simple "B" picture, this exciting comedy-mystery, starring William Powell and Myrna Loy as Nick and Nora Charles, was so successful that it spawned five sequels over the next 13 years. Not only that, but the film also immortalized author Dashiell Hammett's husband and wife sleuthing team as two of history's most famous, and popular, detectives. Professionally restored, this card once displayed edge wear, pinholes, and a few surface scuffs. There were paper lifts and minor bits of paper loss at the left border, and the borders have been airbrushed. Fine/Very Fine on Cardstock.
Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
