    Description

    The Sunset Legion (Paramount, 1928). Fine/Very Fine. Insert (14" X 36").
Soft dusk sunlight plays off a rocky desert landscape on this rare insert, as cowboy hero Fred Thomson and his faithful steed gaze into the distance and ponder their next move. Thomson is a Texas Ranger pretending to be a firearms salesman in order to flush out the bad guys in an unruly Western town. This is only one of four films Thomson would make for Paramount before his untimely passing at the age of 28, and this was his next to last film. His popularity rivaled Tom Mix in his day as he made 30 films before his death. This vibrant poster shows slight edge wear, a couple of very minor tears, and dust shadows. There is foxing and unobtrusive stains in the borders. Fine/Very Fine.

    Estimate: $500 - $1,000.
