    Description

The Spoilers (Paramount, 1930). Fine+ on Paper. Full-Bleed Linen Finish One Sheet (27" X 41.5").
Known for being printed on delicate paper that did not hold up well to the forces of use and time, linen finish one sheets are an exceptionally rare sight in modern day. Even scarcer are linen finish posters with a full bleed printing, eschewing the borders normally seen on most advertising paper from the 20th century. These factors make this one sheet a highly prized item for many collectors of early cinema. Gary Cooper and Betty Compson star in this third adaptation of Rex Beach's novel about corruption and greed in the Yukon. Five versions of this film have been made, the most notable being the 1942 remake with John Wayne and Marlene Dietrich. A Heritage first, this unique poster has had professional restoration to repair edge wear, creasing, and a few pinholes. The poster had some small tears in the borders as well as one in Cooper's hat. There were a few minor chips in the borders as well as a bit of paper loss in the left border. The poster also displays some post-restoration creasing. Fine+ on Paper.
