The Song of Love (First National, 1925). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. German Poster (37.25" X 56").
Still regarded as one of the greatest actresses of the Silent Era, Norma Talmadge stars as a seductive Algerian dancer caught up in a political plot between a local revolution and the French ruling government. Joseph Schildkraut plays her secret agent love interest, while Arthur Edmund Carewe takes on the role of a Tuareg leader also vying for Talmadge's affections. Our starlet shines on this gorgeous stone litho poster, the first of any paper Heritage has ever presented for the film. Signs of age in this wonderful stone litho German poster include light edge and fold wear, slight fold separations, enlarged pinholes, and mild creases. There are a few small tears and very minor paper loss. The poster's folds are slightly delicate, and there is an ink stamp in the right background that is dated May 13, 1925. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.

    Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
