    Description

The Shopworn Angel (Paramount, 1928). Folded, Very Fine+. Swedish One Sheet (27.5" X 39.5").
The first of three film versions of the Dana Burnet short story Private Pettigrew's Girl, this picture stars Nancy Carroll as a flighty cabaret entertainer transformed by her romance with an army private, played by Gary Cooper. Production on the film had nearly finished when the talkie craze hit Hollywood, prompting the studio to create partial sound dialogue in order to cash in on the new trend. Making its first appearance at Heritage, this splendid Swedish poster has lovely stone litho printing and shows only light edge and fold wear, minor crossfold separations, thin creases, and a very small tear. Folded, Very Fine+.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
