    Description

The Return of Sherlock Holmes (Paramount, 1929). Fine+. Trimmed Title Lobby Card & Trimmed Lobby Card (Approx. 11" X 14").
"Elementary, dear Watson, elementary," utters master sleuth Sherlock Holmes for the first time on film, the line that would ultimately become his trademark. From Clive Brook's first outing as the renowned detective, the title card features Brook impeccably turned out in a tweed jacket, meticulously scrutinizing a murderous revolver. Signs of use include some edge wear, mild creases, small tears and chips, as well as unobtrusive stains and smudges. The title card has foxing, a dust shadow in the top right corner, and a slight trim in the lower border. The lobby card displays minor scratches and surface scuffs in addition to a slight trim in the upper border with a paper lift.

    Estimate: $500 - $1,000.
