    Description

The Return of Dr. X (Warner Brothers, 1939). Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style B. Humphrey Bogart makes one of his strangest screen appearances as a quasi-vampire-zombie in this horror/comedy from Warner Brothers. It was a true departure from the actor's usual gangster roles, but as a man raised from the dead to help in experiments with blood, Bogart gave it his best effort in the Karloff/Lugosi tradition. This half sheet was folded and, typical of linen-finish posters, there are tiny flakes along the fold lines, and very minor tears in the borders. This rare style half sheet is one of the most difficult posters to find from Bogart's entire career! There are only three known copies of this style which is far superior to the style A. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
