    Description

The Philadelphia Story (MGM, 1940). Very Fine- on Cardstock. Autographed Lobby Card & Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Cary Grant, as Katharine Hepburn's ex-husband, returns on her wedding day to try to derail her marriage to a self-made man. This brilliant romantic comedy won an Oscar for Best Screenplay for screenwriter Donald Ogden Stewart, and Best Actor for James Stewart. One card is signed by James Stewart and has been restored to correct pinholes, surface wear, and very small tears. The borders have been mostly airbrushed and there is a post-restoration minor chip in the lower left corner. The Spy magazine card, unrestored and unbacked, has slight edge wear, small corner bends, faint unobtrusive stains, and a minute nick in the bottom left corner. A few of the stains are from pieces of paper tape on the verso. Very Fine- on Cardstock.

    Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
