DescriptionThe Philadelphia Story (MGM, 1940). Fine/Very Fine. Title Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Katharine Hepburn is sensational as spoiled goddess Tracy Lord, who is all mixed up on the eve of her marriage to the very proper John Howard, especially when her dashing ex-husband Cary Grant shows up. A screwball romance of crazy perfection, this is comedy at its finest. George Cukor directs the madness, which also involves the talents of James Stewart and Ruth Hussey. This title card displays such indications of use as slight edge wear, small tears and chips, thin dust shadows, and unobtrusive stains. There are pinholes, a few pieces of paper tape on the verso, and a piece of paper tape in the lower left border on the front.
Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
