Description

The Palm Beach Girl (Paramount, 1926). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Bebe Daniels was a major star by the time this story of social classes was made in 1926. Legend has it that the star was making a personal appearance at a Chicago hotel and several thousand dollars' worth of jewelry was stolen from Daniels' hotel room. Gangster Al Capone, a longtime Daniels fan, heard about it and put out the word that whoever stole the jewelry had 24 hours to return it "or else." The jewelry was returned the next day! This is a fabulous image from the heyday of Daniels' stardom! This gorgeous poster is a stone litho image and has minimal wear including slight tape stains in the corners and upper and lower borders. There are pinholes in the corners and tiny stains around border and a few within the image. The colors are as bright as the day they were printed. Folded, Very Fine-.
